Who is at risk of stroke?

My uncle recently had a stroke, and it was quite a shock for the family. We're all trying to be more aware now. Who is typically at risk of having a stroke, and what are the main factors?

Anyone with uncontrolled high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, or a history of heart disease is at a higher risk. Smoking and obesity also increase it significantly. Please take care of your health, it's so important to manage these conditions proactively to keep yourself safe.

Beta, many things increase risk. High blood pressure, sugar, cholesterol, and if it runs in the family. My elder brother had a stroke, and it was due to his uncontrolled BP. So it's very important to keep these under control. Don't worry, just be regular with your checkups.

Stroke risk is higher for people with high BP, diabetes, or cholesterol. It's expensive to treat, so prevention is key. Regular check-ups, even basic blood tests, are a good investment. Don't skip them thinking about the cost; it saves much more later.

I don't give medical advice, but from what I've observed in my family, those with high blood pressure or diabetes need to be very careful. My grandmother's doctor always stressed on managing her BP to prevent anything serious. So, health management is key.

Definitely, people with high BP and diabetes are at higher risk. Lifestyle choices like smoking also play a big role.
