Who do you see for thyroid issues?

I've been feeling really tired and my weight has been fluctuating a lot lately, which I think might be related to my thyroid. My friend suggested I get it checked. What kind of doctor should I go to for thyroid problems? Who is the specialist for these issues?

An endocrinologist is the specialist for thyroid. But don't forget, managing thyroid also means regular exercise and a balanced diet. It's not just meds; your lifestyle plays a big part in feeling better and keeping those hormones in check.

For thyroid issues, you should primarily see an endocrinologist. They specialize in hormones and endocrine glands. Your general physician can start the initial blood tests (TSH, T3, T4) and then refer you if needed. It's good to get it checked early.

Oh, thyroid issues! You gotta see an endocrinologist for sure. I heard it can mess with your metabolism and cravings. So, while you're getting meds sorted, maybe keep an eye on those sneaky hunger pangs! 😉 Good food still makes everything better, in moderation of course!

An endocrinologist is the right specialist for thyroid issues. It's really important to get it properly diagnosed and managed, especially since it can sometimes mimic or co-exist with other hormonal imbalances like PCOS. Don't self-diagnose, get professional help.

You definitely need to see an endocrinologist! 👩‍⚕️ They are the experts for thyroid hormones. Your regular doctor can do the first blood tests, but for proper management, a specialist is best! Hope you feel better soon! ✨

My doctor specifically recommended an endocrinologist for my thyroid condition. They deal with all hormonal imbalances. Initially, I saw my GP for the blood tests, and once the thyroid levels were off, they referred me. Make sure to get TSH, T3, T4 and sometimes even anti-TPO antibodies checked.
