Where to place tens pads for shoulder pain?

My shoulder pain has flared up again, and it's making daily tasks really difficult. I have a TENS unit at home but I'm never sure where to place the pads for the most effective pain relief. Any suggestions?

Shoulder pain can be really disruptive, behen. For TENS pads, generally, you place them directly on the area of pain or slightly around it, making sure the current passes through the painful spot. But before using it, it's a good idea to check with a physiotherapist. They can show you the exact points and correct settings, so you don't aggravate anything.

Shoulder pain is quite common, and TENS can provide relief. You usually place the pads on either side of the pain or directly over the muscle. However, if you have any underlying conditions like diabetes, it's always best to consult your doctor or a physiotherapist first to ensure it's safe and effective for you. Don't just follow internet advice.

Okay, for shoulder pain with TENS, usually you put one pad above the pain and one below, or on either side of the muscle. The goal is to surround the area. It gives temporary relief. But honestly, if it's persistent, you need to see a physio for a proper diagnosis and long-term solution. Don't just mask the pain.

Shoulder pain can be really difficult, I know how it feels when your body isn't cooperating. For TENS pads, generally you position them to bracket the painful area. But it's super important to consult a physiotherapist or doctor first, especially to rule out any underlying issues. They can guide you on the safest and most effective placement for your specific pain, without overdoing it.

My wife used TENS for her shoulder pain. We bought a machine, and the manual usually shows where to place the pads for different body parts. For shoulder, it's typically around the painful joint or on the deltoid muscle. But also, apply some heat or use a pain relief spray. For serious pain, better see a doctor. TENS is more for temporary comfort.
