Where to get stem cell therapy for stroke?

My father had a stroke a few years ago, and his recovery has been slow. We read online about stem cell therapy as a possible treatment. Are there any hospitals or clinics in India that offer stem cell therapy for stroke patients?

Beta, for something as serious as stroke, you must be very careful with new treatments. My neighbour also had a stroke, and the doctors focused on rehabilitation. Stem cell therapy is still quite new and not widely approved for stroke in many places. Please talk to a senior neurologist who can explain all the pros and cons.

This is a highly specialized and experimental treatment. Don't just look for 'where to get it.' First, you need to consult with a neurologist who understands stem cell research for stroke. They can tell you if it's even a viable option for your specific case and where accredited trials might be happening. Be very cautious.

Please be very careful with such advanced treatments. My relative had a bad experience trying an experimental therapy for another condition. For a stroke, recovery is a long journey and involves proper medical care and rehab. A neurologist will advise on the best path; don't rush into unproven treatments without thorough consultation.

We explored stem cell therapy for a family member after a stroke. It's not a standard treatment and can be very expensive, often with unproven results. Focus on established neuro-rehabilitation first. If you still want to explore, look for clinical trials in reputed institutions, not just commercial clinics. Your neurologist is the main guide here.

For something this serious and specialized, you absolutely need to consult a neurologist first. They will assess the stroke's impact and current condition. Stem cell therapy isn't a widely accepted treatment for stroke yet, so any place offering it needs thorough vetting. Always follow your doctor's recommendations and ask for second opinions.

Ram Ram ji. For stroke, you need to go to a big hospital where good doctors are. I have heard about stem cells but don't know much. Please ask a good doctor, a neurologist, they know everything. Don't trust everything on the internet, my child.
