Where is valley fever found?
I heard about a fungal infection called 'Valley Fever' from a news report. It sounded a bit concerning. I was wondering where in the world this disease is typically found.

Valley fever is mostly in dry, dusty areas like the southwestern US, parts of Mexico, and South America. So if you're traveling there, just be careful and maybe avoid super dusty places. Otherwise, not a huge concern for us here in India generally.
Oh, valley fever. I remember reading about this. It's mainly found in the soil in some western parts of America, where it's very dry. It's a fungal infection. Here, we don't have to worry much about it. Just keep your immunity strong with good food, no need to be scared unnecessarily.
Haan, valley fever ke baare mein maine suna hai. Actually, it's more common in America, woh bhi wahan ke dry states mein jaise Arizona ya California. Idhar India mein toh itna nahi hai na. So you don't need to worry much unless you are travelling there.
Valley fever? Sounds like a band name, haha! But seriously, it's mostly in the desert-y parts of the US. So unless you're planning a vacation to Arizona's dust bowls, you're probably safe from this particular party pooper. 😉
Beta, yeh bimari toh hamare yahan ki nahi lagti. Maine toh suna hai ki yeh America mein hoti hai, jahan bahut garmi aur mitti udti rehti hai. Hamare desh mein toh shukar hai aisi cheezein kam hi milti hain. Bas safai rakho aur achha khana khao.
My doctor actually explained this to me once. Valley fever, or Coccidioidomycosis, is caused by a fungus found in soil, specifically in arid and semi-arid regions. The US states like Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and Washington are known for it. It's not something we commonly encounter in India, thankfully.
Mainly found in arid regions of the southwestern USA.
