Where is thyroid cartilage located?

I have been having a sore throat and sometimes my voice feels hoarse. My doctor mentioned looking at my thyroid cartilage. Where is thyroid cartilage located exactly?

It's in your neck, forming the 'Adam's apple.' Superior to the thyroid gland itself. If you're concerned about your neck, it's always best to get a quick checkup with a general physician.

Oh, the thyroid cartilage. Haan, it's that prominent part in your throat. For general throat health, I've tried gargling with warm salt water, and it really helps when my throat feels scratchy. But if it's pain near that area, please see a doc.

That's the main cartilage of your voice box, jo gale mein upar hota hai. It forms what people call the Adam's apple. For minor throat discomfort, honey-ginger tea is good, but any serious swelling or pain there needs a doctor's attention for sure.

Is that the part which feels hard when you touch your throat? I always thought it was part of the windpipe. So it's basically above the actual thyroid gland itself? Just trying to understand better.

The thyroid cartilage is basically the main part of your voice box, up front in your neck. Important for your voice, you know. If you ever feel anything off there, better to get it checked. Small issues can become big, and then the tests get expensive. Don't delay!

Bro, it's that prominent bump in the front of your neck, like the Adam's apple. My throat was hurting like anything a few months back and I thought it was related to my thyroid, but doc said it was just a regular throat infection near the cartilage.
