Where is the sleep button on my laptop?
I just got a new laptop for my online classes, and I can't find the sleep button anywhere! My old laptop had a clear one. Can someone tell me where it usually is on most laptops?

Most laptops have the sleep option in the power menu (Windows) or Apple menu (Mac)! Or sometimes there's a dedicated F-key with a crescent moon or 'Zz' icon. Happy napping for your laptop! 🌙💤
Hello! The sleep button isn't always a physical button. On Windows, you can click the Start button, then the power icon, and select 'Sleep.' On most laptops, closing the lid will also put it to sleep. Some models have a special function key, often with a moon icon. Hope this helps!
Haha, looking for the laptop's 'bedtime button'? Usually, it's either in the power options when you click the start menu, or sometimes one of the function keys (F1-F12) has a little moon symbol on it. If not, just close the lid! Works every time for me. 😂
Just like our minds need to rest, your laptop also needs its 'shavasana.' You can usually find the sleep option in the power menu, or sometimes pressing the power button briefly will put it to sleep. Or simply closing the lid works too. Give your machine some peace.

Don't worry, finding it can be tricky depending on your laptop model. Usually, you'll find 'Sleep' under the power options in your operating system's start menu. Or sometimes, one of the F-keys on your keyboard will have a little crescent moon symbol. Just take a look around, you'll find it.
