Where is the pain from gallstones located?

My mother was diagnosed with gallstones and is in a lot of pain. I'm trying to understand it better for her. Where is the pain from gallstones located in the body? Is it always in the stomach area?

Hey! Gallstone pain usually starts in your upper right abdomen, just under your ribs. Sometimes it can radiate to your right shoulder or back. It's often a really sharp, intense pain that comes and goes. Don't ignore it if you feel this!

Oh, gallstones! They really cramp your style when it comes to enjoying food. The pain is typically in the upper right part of your belly, after a fatty meal usually. Sometimes it feels like it's going to your back or shoulder. Definitely not a fun feeling, even if you love food!

Gallstone pain is usually sharp and sudden, in the upper right abdomen, just under the ribs. It can sometimes spread to the back or shoulder blade. With PCOS, we're already prone to some digestive issues, so it's always better to get this checked by a doctor if you suspect anything.

Usually, gallstone pain is a sharp ache in the upper right part of your belly, often after eating. Sometimes it goes to the right shoulder. While I usually look for natural solutions, for something as serious and painful as gallstones, a doctor's visit is absolutely necessary. Don't delay.

Oh, gallstone pain is horrible. It's typically felt in the upper right abdomen, sometimes going to your back or shoulder. I tried so many home remedies but finally had to see a doctor. If it's severe, don't suffer, get proper medical help, it's very practical.

I once panicked thinking I had gallstones because of upper right abdominal pain, but it turned out to be just gas. However, actual gallstone pain is usually much more severe and focused in that upper right area, and can go to your back. If it's intense, please don't wait.

For gallstones, the pain usually presents in the upper right abdomen, right beneath the rib cage. It can be quite severe and often radiates to the back or right shoulder. It's a sign that needs medical attention, so please consult a gastroenterologist quickly for proper diagnosis and care.
