Where is the pain from a torn rotator cuff?

My husband has been complaining about shoulder pain for months, especially after lifting things. He thinks it might be a torn rotator cuff. Where is the pain from a torn rotator cuff typically located? Is it a dull ache or sharp pain?

Hey, if it's a torn rotator cuff, the pain is usually in the shoulder, often a deep ache. It gets worse when you lift your arm or lie on that side at night. It's a common injury, so don't be too worried, but definitely get it checked by an orthopedic specialist for proper advice.

I heard about rotator cuff injuries from a friend. The pain is typically felt in the shoulder area itself, especially when you lift your arm or reach overhead. It can also cause weakness. Why are you asking, if you don't mind?

My son had a rotator cuff injury from sports. The pain was in his shoulder, sometimes radiating down his arm, and it was hard for him to lift things. It also hurt a lot at night. Always take kids to a specialist right away for such injuries.

Haan na, rotator cuff ka pain toh shoulder mein hi hota hai, especially jab haath upar uthao ya side mein rakho. Kabhi-kabhi raat mein bhi bohot dard hota hai. Doctor ko dikhao jaldi se.
