Where is the liver located in the abdomen?

My doctor said my liver enzymes were a bit off. I'm wondering about its exact position. Where is the liver located in the abdomen? Is it very protected?

The liver is in the upper right side of your abdomen, beneath the diaphragm and protected by the rib cage. It's a critical organ. If you're experiencing any discomfort, especially with PCOS, it's wise to consult a doctor. Don't self-diagnose.

I looked this up recently too! It's primarily in the upper right part of your abdomen, tucked away under the diaphragm and your lower ribs. It's pretty big, too. Why do you ask?

The liver is indeed in the upper right abdomen, under the rib cage. But seriously, don't rely on anonymous internet posts for precise anatomical info or medical advice. If you're concerned about your liver, go to a real doctor. They are the experts.

It's located on the upper right side of your stomach area, just below your ribs. My amma always said to eat healthy for liver. But if you have any pain, please don't just rely on home remedies. A doctor will give the correct advice.

Hey, the liver is located in the upper right side of your abdomen, just beneath your diaphragm, behind your lower ribs. It's quite a central and important organ. If you're having any pain or doubts, it's always best to get it checked out by a doctor to be on the safe side.
