Where is the left kidney located?

My doctor mentioned something about my left kidney during a check-up. I'm trying to visualize it. Where is the left kidney located exactly? Is it higher or lower than the right one?

Ah, the left kidney. It's somewhere behind your stomach, under the ribs, a bit towards your back. I remember trying to locate it once when I had a cramp there. Felt like it was playing hide-and-seek. Good luck with yours!

Beti, it's on your left side, near your back, just below the rib cage. My nani used to say drinking plenty of water and eating gajar (carrots) is good for the kidneys. But if you have pain, don't just do ghar ka nuskha, dikhao doctor ko.

My doctor explained it really well. The left kidney is typically located a little higher than the right one, deep inside the abdomen, behind the peritoneum. It's nestled beneath the diaphragm and protected by the lower ribs, near your spine at the level of T12 to L3 vertebrae.

It's on your left, towards your back, under the ribs. But more importantly, if you're asking because of pain or discomfort, please don't Google further. Get it checked by a doctor as soon as possible to rule out anything serious.

Hey, it's situated in your upper abdomen, on the left side of your spine, below the rib cage. Don't worry too much about pinpointing it exactly yourself. If you're feeling any pain there, the best thing is to see a doctor to understand what's going on.

The left kidney is roughly around your lower back, on the left side, just below the rib cage. It's quite protected. If you're experiencing any symptoms related to it, like flank pain or changes in urination, please consult your GP.

My friend, it's usually high up on your left side, closer to your back, under your lower ribs. I ignored some mild back pain once thinking it was muscle strain, turned out to be a kidney issue. Please don't make my mistake, get any symptoms checked by a doctor.

I was also looking this up recently! From what I gathered, it's on your left side, towards your back, beneath your rib cage. Kinda feels like it's tucked away there. Why are you asking, if you don't mind me asking?
