Where is spleen pain felt?

Sometimes I feel a strange discomfort in my upper left abdomen, and I'm not sure what it is. I've read about the spleen. Where is spleen pain felt, typically, so I can see if it matches my symptoms?

Oh, spleen pain is serious, don't ignore it like I once ignored something else. It's usually felt in the upper left part of your abdomen, right under your ribs. Sometimes it can even feel like it's in your left shoulder. Please, please get it checked by a doctor quickly. Early detection is everything.

Beta, spleen ka dard toh pet ke upar wale hisse mein hota hai, left side mein, rib cage ke neeche. Kabhi kabhi toh kandhe tak bhi chala jaata hai dard. Agar aisa kuch hai, toh doctor ko zaroor dikhao, jaldi se. Humari dua hai aap theek ho jao.

Spleen pain is usually in the upper left quadrant of your abdomen, under the ribs, sometimes going to the left shoulder. If you're feeling this, go to a good hospital and get it checked. When you see the doctor, ask them clearly about the possible causes and what tests are needed. Don't leave anything to doubt.
