Where is liver pain felt?

I've been having some upper abdominal discomfort, and a friend asked if it could be liver pain. I'm trying to figure out where liver pain is typically felt.

Liver pain is generally felt in the upper right side of your abdomen, directly under the rib cage. Sometimes it can also radiate to your right shoulder or back. Keeping a healthy lifestyle, especially for managing BP, really helps all your organs, including the liver. If you feel pain, a checkup is non-negotiable.

Liver pain? That sounds scary. I get worried about any unusual aches. Is it usually a deep, persistent pain right under the right ribs? Does it feel different from a stomach cramp or gas? Has anyone felt it radiating to their back or shoulder too? Just curious, for awareness.

As my doctor once explained, liver pain is typically localized to the right upper quadrant of the abdomen, underneath the diaphragm and protected by the lower ribs. It's often described as a dull ache, but can be sharper. It's crucial not to self-diagnose and consult a physician for proper evaluation if you experience such symptoms.

Oh, I totally get why you'd be asking this. Liver pain can be really unsettling. It's usually felt in the upper right part of your abdomen, just below your rib cage. Sometimes it's a constant, dull ache, and other times it can be sharper. It can even make your right shoulder or back hurt. If you're feeling this, please take care and see a doctor.

From a diet perspective, liver pain, often due to issues like fatty liver, is generally experienced in the upper right abdomen, beneath the ribs. It's crucial to adopt a balanced, plant-based diet to support liver health. If you're feeling pain there, please get a proper medical check-up, diet alone cannot fix severe issues.
