Where is acid reflux pain located?

Sometimes after eating spicy food, I get this uncomfortable feeling. My colleague said it could be acid reflux. Where is acid reflux pain located? I want to confirm if my symptoms match.

Putri, acid reflux causes a burning feeling right in the middle of your chest, sometimes it comes up to your throat. My mother used to say drink a little cold milk or eat a small piece of jaggery. For minor discomfort it might help, but if it's severe, always consult a vaidya or doctor.

Oh, that burning in the chest, right? It's typically felt right behind your breastbone and can sometimes reach your throat. I used to get so anxious thinking it was something worse, so I know how worrying it can be. It's often just reflux, but do get it checked if it's constant or very painful.

Bhai/Behen, acid reflux is usually a burning sensation in your chest, right in the center, and can go up to your throat. It's often called heartburn. If it's bothering you a lot, maybe cut down on the spicy food for a bit.

Hey! It's usually that super uncomfortable burning feeling right behind your breastbone, ya know? Sometimes it feels like it's coming all the way up your throat. Don't stress too much, it happens, just try to eat lighter for a bit.

My doctor explained it clearly. Acid reflux pain is typically localized in the retrosternal area, which means behind the breastbone in your chest. It often radiates upwards into the throat, causing a sour taste or a burning sensation there. It's caused by stomach acid flowing back up.

It's felt right in the center of your chest, like a strong burning, and sometimes in your throat. I ignored mine for too long thinking it was just a normal ache. It eventually caused more issues. Please, if it's frequent or severe, get it checked by a doctor. Don't delay like I did.
