Where does psoriasis come from?

My cousin recently got diagnosed with psoriasis, and we're trying to understand this condition better. It seems to run in families, but I'm not entirely sure. Where does psoriasis actually come from, what causes it?

Psoriasis is actually an autoimmune condition where skin cells grow too fast, leading to thick, red, scaly patches. It's not contagious, and it's thought to be genetic, often triggered by stress, infections, or injuries. So, it's more about your body's internal system acting up. A dermatologist can give specific treatment options.

My health apps sometimes have articles on skin conditions. Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease, meaning your immune system mistakenly attacks healthy skin cells, causing them to multiply rapidly. Genetics and certain triggers like stress or infections play a big role. It's not something you 'catch'.

Like my thyroid, psoriasis is an autoimmune condition, meaning the body's immune system is overactive and affects skin cell growth. It's not contagious. Genetics and triggers like stress or infections play a role. Regular doctor visits and proper management are key for conditions like these, so don't ignore it.

It's natural to feel concerned when you see skin conditions. Psoriasis is actually an autoimmune condition, where your body's immune system causes skin cells to grow too quickly. It's not contagious, so you can't catch it from someone. Genetic factors and environmental triggers are usually involved. Seeing a dermatologist is the best step for any skin worries.

Psoriasis isn't like a bad Bollywood movie that just appears out of nowhere! 😂 It's an autoimmune thing, where your skin cells decide to party too hard and multiply too fast. It's not catchy, so no need to social distance from people with it. Mostly genetic and triggered by stress. Go see a skin doc!

Yaar, psoriasis actually comes from inside your body, not outside. It's an autoimmune disease where your immune system is a bit confused and makes skin cells grow super fast. It's not contagious. Stress and genetics are often triggers. Best to consult a dermatologist, seriously.
