Where do you feel rotator cuff pain?

I've been having this persistent ache in my shoulder, especially when I try to lift my arm. Someone suggested it might be a rotator cuff injury. Where exactly do you feel the pain if it's your rotator cuff?

Sleep? What's sleep? With my rotator cuff, I feel it everywhere, mostly my shoulder and upper arm, especially when I try to lift anything. Even just turning in bed is a mission. Ugh.

Usually, people describe it as a dull ache deep in the shoulder, especially when you try to lift or rotate your arm. It can also cause weakness and make it hard to sleep on that side. Best to get it checked by an ortho doc to confirm.

Yaar, for me it was my dominant arm, right on top of the shoulder and down the side of my bicep. Lifting my arm, especially outwards, was super painful. Actually, even reaching behind my back was tough.

Oh, I just went through this! It was a deep ache in my shoulder, mostly on the side and a bit into my upper arm. It got much worse when I tried to raise my arm, especially reaching for things. Sleeping on that side was impossible.

Well, it feels like my shoulder decided to go on a strike and took my upper arm with it! Seriously though, it's that deep, annoying ache in the shoulder area and sometimes feels like my arm is just tired and refusing to cooperate. Don't worry, it's common!

Typically, rotator cuff pain is felt on the outside of the shoulder, often radiating down the arm. It worsens with movement, especially overhead activities or lifting. A doctor's diagnosis and physiotherapy are crucial for proper management.
