Where did yellow fever originate?

My son is doing a school project on global epidemics, and he asked me about yellow fever. I didn't know much about its history. Can anyone tell me where did yellow fever originate geographically?

It's totally understandable to be curious about where diseases come from, especially ones that sound scary like yellow fever. It originated in Africa and then spread to the Americas. Knowing the history helps reduce some of the unknown fear, I feel.

Hello, beta! Yellow fever, this one started far away, in Africa. Then it reached other places through people traveling. It's a mosquito disease, like dengue. So important to keep our homes clean and not let water collect anywhere.

Yellow fever is a viral disease, originally from Africa. It's spread by mosquitoes. While we don't have it commonly here, it's a good reminder to always prioritize health. Regular check-ups, especially for things like BP, and keeping fit, that's what truly matters.

From what I've read casually, it's an African disease that traveled to the Americas with people. I don't know much more, just heard about it in documentaries. So I can't give medical advice, just sharing my limited knowledge.

Namaste, puttar. Yellow fever, this is an old disease, it came from the African continent. Our ancestors always taught us to respect nature and keep our environment clean to avoid all kinds of fevers. A little bit of neem around the house also helps keep insects away.

It originated in Africa. It's a flavivirus, transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes. Simple. Vaccination is key for prevention if traveling to endemic regions.

Yellow fever, haan? I think it originated in Africa. Honestly, these days, it feels like every other disease is originating somewhere new or old and trying to get us! One more reason for me to stay home and enjoy my chai, away from all these exotic mosquito-borne issues.

Yellow fever? Probably originated from some ancient, grumpy mosquito who had a terrible night's sleep, just like me. Kidding! It's a serious viral disease from Africa, spread by mosquitoes. Another reason to hate mosquitoes, yaar.
