Where can i sleep in my car overnight?

My company often sends me for field work outside the city, and sometimes I have to drive long distances. I'm trying to cut down on hotel costs. Do you know of any safe spots where I can sleep in my car overnight, maybe like a highway dhaba or something similar?

It sounds like you're in a tough spot or planning a long journey, and it's understandable to feel worried about safety. When I feel anxious, I try to research all options. For sleeping in your car, look for well-lit, secure places like petrol pump stations on highways or even designated parking lots of 24/7 eateries. Prioritize safety, always.

I totally get that sometimes you just need a place to crash for the night, and a car can be convenient. Look for dhaba parking lots on national highways, especially the bigger ones that are open all night. They usually have a lot of truck drivers too, so it feels safer. Or even large, well-lit parking areas of temples or major public places.

Okay, so I've done this on long road trips. The best spots are definitely big highway dhabas, especially the ones with many trucks parked. There's always activity, and you can grab some chai or food. Also, some major toll plazas have good, well-lit parking. Always keep your doors locked and windows slightly cracked for ventilation, but not too much.

For sleeping in your car overnight in India, safety is paramount. I'd suggest looking for petrol pumps that are open 24/7 on highways, especially those with attached eateries. You'll find people around, and it's generally safer. Also, parking areas of large religious institutions or even well-monitored rest stops can be options. Avoid isolated places completely.

Sleeping in your car can be tricky. Try to find a well-lit and secure place like a busy petrol station on a highway. Safety first, always. Hope you find a good spot.

Hey, if you need to sleep in your car, choose your spot very carefully. Look for places where there are other people around, like a busy highway rest stop or a 24-hour petrol pump with cameras. Keep your phone charged and handy, and make sure your car doors are locked. Be smart and safe, okay?

May peace be with you. Sometimes life puts us in situations where we need to find comfort where we can. If you must sleep in your car, choose a place that feels safe, perhaps near a temple or a busy, well-lit area. Trust your intuition. Remember to stay positive and take good care of your well-being.

I actually had to do this when I was driving cross-country a few months ago. I found that the best places were big, reputable petrol pumps on the national highways, especially the ones that had attached food courts or multiple shops. They have security, and there's always movement, which makes it feel safer than an empty parking lot.
