Where are kidney stones found?

My uncle recently had kidney stone problem, and he was in so much pain. It made me wonder, where exactly do these stones form inside the body? Is it only in the kidneys or can they be in other places too?

Kidney stones form in the kidneys themselves. From there, they can travel down through the urinary tract – meaning the ureters (tubes connecting kidneys to bladder), the bladder, or even the urethra. The pain is usually felt when they move.

Kidney stones are actually formed inside your kidneys. But the problem starts when they try to pass! They can be found anywhere along the urinary tract - in the kidney itself, the ureter (the tube from kidney to bladder), or even in the bladder. Keep hydrated, beta!

Betiyan, kidney stones pehle kidney mein hi bante hain. Fir jab woh nikalne lagte hain na, tab raste mein kahin bhi atak sakte hain – gurde se bladder tak ke pipe mein, ya phir bladder mein. Isliye bahut paani peena chahiye, takki sab saaf ho jaye.

Bhai, kidney stones bante toh kidney mein hi hain. Fir jab woh nikalte hain na, tab problem hoti hai. They can get stuck anywhere in the pipe going to your bladder, or even in the bladder itself. That's why the pain moves, apparently. Drink water, dude!

Kidney stones primarily form within the kidneys. However, they can then move and be found anywhere along the urinary tract, including the ureters or the bladder. If you suspect stones, don't self-diagnose. Get proper medical attention. It's similar to PCOS where symptoms can be varied, so always get a doctor's opinion for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Kidney stones originate in the kidneys. From there, they can be found in the ureters, bladder, or urethra as they try to pass. For my diet, I'm careful with oxalates to prevent kidney stones, like limiting spinach and nuts. But for existing stones, always follow a doctor's advice, not just diet changes.

Kidney stones form in the kidneys, but the real trouble starts when they travel down the urinary tract to the bladder. The pain is something else! Drinking a lot of water and sometimes apple cider vinegar in water is a common home remedy, but if the pain is severe or there's blood, you must see a doctor immediately.
