When was hepatitis c identified?

My brother's friend was diagnosed with Hepatitis C, and we were discussing the disease. I was wondering, when was Hepatitis C actually identified? It's good to know the origins of such serious illnesses.

Keeping your immunity strong through good diet and regular exercise is important for all kinds of infections, even ones like Hepatitis C. But identifying diseases like this helps target treatments. So, health and science go hand-in-hand.

Oh, another thing that was identified after I was born, making me feel old, haha! Seriously though, good that they identified it. Better to know what you're fighting, right? At my age, I just hope they don't identify too many more new things.

Honestly, knowing when it was identified is cool for trivia, but the main thing is that now we have treatments. My friend's uncle had it, and he's doing much better now thanks to modern medicine.

I was just reading about this actually. It's fascinating how long it took to pinpoint some of these viruses, even though their effects were known. Makes you appreciate modern diagnostics more.

It is good that these ailments are now understood. While I believe in strengthening the body naturally through yoga and pranayama, medical science has its place for specific diseases. Identifying the cause helps in bringing peace to those suffering.
