When to take fever reducer adult?

Feeling a bit feverish since morning, around 101. I have some paracetamol at home. Should I take it right away, or wait to see if the fever goes down on its own? What's the general advice for adults?

I used to panic and pop a pill for every slight rise in temperature! But my doctor told me that a fever itself isn't always bad; it's your body fighting. Now, I usually take a reducer if my temperature hits 101°F (38.3°C) or higher, and I'm feeling really unwell with body aches and chills. Below that, I just rest and drink fluids. Don't rush it, but also don't suffer needlessly!

Hello, I get confused with this. For adults, is it okay to wait for 102F or more? Or if I just feel very weak even with a lower temperature, can I take it then? Does it make a difference?

When your body feels warm with fever, remember it's a sign from within. Stay positive. For adults, if the fever becomes too uncomfortable or goes beyond 101°F (38.3°C), a reducer can bring some ease to the body. But also take good rest and drink plenty of fluids. All will be well with God's grace.

I had a bad experience once where I let a fever go too long, thinking it would resolve, and it led to complications. Now, if my fever crosses 101°F (38.3°C) and I feel really sick, I take a reducer like paracetamol. More importantly, if it doesn't come down after a few doses or if I feel unusually unwell, I immediately consult my doctor. Don't take risks with prolonged fever, please see a doctor if it's persistent.

I'm not a doctor, so I can only share what I do. For myself, if my fever is around 101°F and I have body aches or feel very fatigued, I usually take a paracetamol. If it's a lower fever and I'm not feeling too bad, I just rest. Everyone's body is different, so just listen to yours.

Ho na, fever reducer kab lena, yeh bhi ek sawaal hai. If my temperature is around 101°F or higher, and I'm feeling all tired and body aches are there, then I take it. Sometimes, if the fever is not so high but I feel very uncomfortable, then also I take it. Just to feel better, haan na? But always check the dosage.
