When to see an orthopedic doctor for shoulder pain?

My right shoulder has been hurting for almost two months now, especially when I lift my arm. I've tried balms and hot packs, but nothing helps much. Is it time to see an orthopedic doctor for this kind of shoulder pain?

Honestly, shoulder pain can be tricky. If it's been more than a couple of days, or if you can't move your arm properly, or there's swelling, you really should get it checked by an orthopedic doctor. Better safe than sorry, always.

For mild pain, you can try some hot packs or gentle stretches. But if the pain is sharp, or if you feel any numbness or weakness in your arm, then please don't delay. That's definitely doctor territory, especially if it's not going away.

I totally get how worrying any persistent pain can be. It's so easy to overthink. If your shoulder pain is causing you a lot of discomfort or you're constantly thinking about it, that's a good sign to consult a doctor. Peace of mind is also important.

Ouch, shoulder pain can really ruin your day, especially when you're trying to reach for that last gulab jamun! Jokes aside, if it's stopping you from doing daily things or making you uncomfortable, better get it checked. Don't let it spoil your appetite, haan?

Hmm, shoulder pain. Is it like a dull ache or more of a sharp one? I also get it sometimes after lifting heavy things. But how do you know when it's serious enough for an orthopedic doc, not just general physician?

Beta, sometimes these pains come from a wrong posture or cold air. Try applying some warm oil and massaging gently. But if it's very severe, or if you had an injury, then listen to your body and go see the doctor. Don't let it become a bigger problem.

My friend ignored her shoulder pain for too long, thinking it was just muscle strain, and it ended up being a frozen shoulder which took ages to recover. If the pain is limiting your movement or constantly there, don't wait. See a specialist before it gets complicated.
