When to go to the dentist for tooth pain?

My tooth pain is so bad it's affecting my sleep and I can't even drink cold water. I've tried some home remedies, but nothing helps. When is it absolutely necessary to go to the dentist for tooth pain, even if it's a weekend?

Any tooth pain that doesn't go away in a day or two means a dentist visit, for sure! 🦷 Don't wait for it to get worse and ruin your mood. Early checkup saves you from bigger problems (and bigger bills! 😉).

Persistent tooth pain, sensitivity to hot/cold, or any discomfort while chewing warrants a dental consultation. If you notice swelling, redness, or a foul taste, it indicates an infection that needs immediate attention. Always best to let a professional diagnose the issue.

Any discomfort that lasts more than a day or two, especially if it's throbbing or comes with swelling, means you need to see a dentist. Don't self-medicate for too long. Sometimes a small cavity can become a big problem if not treated in time.

Bro, if your toothache is keeping you up at night, or if you can't eat properly because of the pain, that's your sign. I waited once, thinking it'd get better, but it only got worse and cost more. Just go to the dentist.

I usually try warm salt water rinses for minor gum pain. But for actual tooth pain, especially if it's sharp, constant, or you see any swelling around the tooth or face, that's a clear signal to go to the dentist. Home remedies won't fix a cavity or infection.

Beti, if your tooth is hurting, and it's not going away with warm water or a little clove oil, then you must go to the doctor. Don't let it grow big. Our health is important, na? They will fix it quickly.

Haan, agar dard ek-do din se zyada ho gaya hai aur painkillers se bhi farak nahi pad raha, toh dentist ke paas jaana hi padega. Na, ghar pe remedies try karke time waste mat karo. Infection badh sakta hai.

I always get anxious thinking about dental pain. How do you know if it's just sensitivity or something serious like a cavity? Sometimes I feel a sharp pang but it goes away. Should I still go? Does anyone else get confused by this?

If you have a persistent ache, sensitivity, or even a small black spot you notice, it's worth a checkup. Waiting means it might need a root canal instead of just a filling, which is much more expensive. Prioritize that dental visit to save money later.
