When to go to er for kidney stones?

My friend just got diagnosed with kidney stones and she was in so much pain. I'm wondering what are the signs that indicate I would need to go to the emergency room if I ever get them, or if I should just see a doctor normally.

I had kidney stones a few years ago, and trust me, you'll know when it's time for the ER. The pain was so intense, I couldn't even stand straight, and I started vomiting. If your pain is unbearable, or if you also get fever and chills, or can't pass urine, please go immediately. That's what I did.

Beta, kidney stone pain is one of the worst, I've seen it. If the pain is very sharp, severe, and not stopping, and especially if you have blood in your urine, fever, or you can't pass urine, then straight to ER. Don't try to manage at home, it needs professional help quickly.

The pain from kidney stones can be absolutely terrifying and overwhelming. I remember feeling so helpless. If the pain is truly excruciating, or if you start vomiting a lot, have a fever, or notice blood in your urine, please go to the ER. It's okay to seek immediate relief and care.

While diet plays a big role in preventing kidney stones, when an attack happens, it's different. If the pain is sharp, excruciating, and you're also vomiting or see blood in your urine, don't think about food; think about getting to the ER. They need to assess and manage the stone immediately.

Normally, I'd suggest lots of water and some natural remedies for small issues. But for kidney stones, if the pain is severe and you're also having fever, chills, or can't urinate at all, you absolutely have to go to the ER. Those are serious signs and natural remedies won't cut it then, you need medical attention.

Yes, if the pain is unbearable or you have fever/blood in urine, ER is a must. Don't delay for stones.

I've been reading up on this and it sounds super painful. From what I've gathered, if you have severe, sudden pain that won't go away, or if you also have fever, chills, blood in your urine, or can't pass urine, then it's definitely ER time. Seems like something you shouldn't just wait out at home.

My child, kidney stone pain is no ordinary pain. If you feel very intense pain in your side or back, and you are also feeling sick to your stomach or seeing blood in your urine, you must go to the hospital. For prevention, drink plenty of water, but for an attack, immediate medical help is needed.
