When to go to er for back pain?

My back pain has been getting worse over the past two days, and now it's making it difficult to even stand or walk. I've tried hot packs and rest, but it's not helping. When should I go to the ER for back pain?

Honestly, if the pain is so bad u can't even move properly or if it shoots down your leg, then ER might be needed. Like when I lifted my friend's luggage, my back was finished. Had to call my bro to help me even stand.

Oh, I totally get it, back pain can be so debilitating! If it's sudden, severe, and doesn't get better with rest, or if you feel any numbness or weakness in your legs, it's definitely time to get it checked out by a doctor. Don't ignore those red flags.

For me, back pain sometimes comes with other issues, so I'm always cautious. If your back pain started after an injury, or if you have fever with it, or any trouble with bladder/bowel, then ER is a must. It's always best to be sure.

When your back pain makes you question all your life choices and you can't even bend to pick up that dropped remote, that's ER time, my friend! Seriously though, if it's super sharp, sudden, or you can't move your legs, don't try to be a hero, just go.

Beta, if your back pain is unbearable or if you can't stand straight, you must go to the doctor right away. For small pains, a hot water bag or ginger tea helps, but if it feels very bad or new symptoms appear, don't delay going to the hospital.

Yes, if the pain is really sharp or you can't feel your legs, go to ER. Better safe than sorry always.

Back pain is the worst, yaar! Ruins all my plans for trying new street food. If you can't even get out of bed to grab a snack, or if the pain is radiating badly, then it's serious. Don't wait, get it checked, so you can enjoy your biryani soon!

I track my posture and activity a lot. If your back pain came on suddenly and is accompanied by weakness, numbness, or loss of bowel/bladder control, that's an immediate ER visit. Also, if you had a fall or injury and the pain is severe, better to get imaging done ASAP.
