When should thyroid medicine be taken?

I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism and started taking medicine. My doctor just said to take it in the morning. Is there a specific time that's best to take thyroid medicine for maximum effectiveness?

Uff, thyroid. My doctor told me to take it first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach, and then wait like an hour before even smelling food or coffee. Sometimes I forget and then my whole day feels off. Discipline is hard, yaar!

Each person is different, so the best time can vary a little. Please consult your endocrinologist. They will tell you the right dosage and timing based on your reports. Don't self-medicate or follow random advice.

Usually, it's advised to take thyroid medicine first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach, with water. Wait at least 30 minutes before eating anything. Your doctor will confirm this.

For thyroid, my aunt always said early morning empty stomach is best. But honestly, for proper medication, you really need to follow your doctor's specific instructions. They know your case best, don't try home remedies for this.

Most doctors say first thing in the morning, 30-60 mins before food or coffee! ☀️ It's so your body absorbs it properly. Don't forget! 😊
