When should i worry about right sided head pain?

I sometimes get headaches, but recently I've had a strong, throbbing pain only on the right side of my head. It's pretty intense. When should I be worried and see a doctor for this kind of headache?

Right sided head pain can be tricky. If it's a normal tension headache, hydrate and rest. But if it's sudden, extreme, or accompanied by symptoms like dizziness, confusion, vision loss, or weakness on one side of your body, use an emergency app or call for help immediately. Track severity, duration, and other symptoms to give doctors a clear picture.

Headaches are common, sometimes from dehydration or stress. But if your right-sided head pain is sudden, very severe ('thunderclap' headache), or if it comes with symptoms like numbness, weakness on one side, vision changes, slurred speech, or high fever, then it's a medical emergency. Don't push through that, get help fast.

My doctor explained that while many headaches are benign, right-sided head pain warrants immediate medical attention if it's sudden and severe ('thunderclap' headache), accompanied by numbness or weakness on one side of the body, vision changes, difficulty speaking, confusion, high fever with stiff neck, or occurs after a head injury. These could be signs of stroke, aneurysm, or other serious conditions.

I get headaches sometimes, but a persistent right-sided one always makes me nervous. Has anyone else experienced this? I think you should worry if the pain is extremely sudden and severe, or if it comes with vision changes, numbness, or difficulty speaking. That's when I'd rush to the ER. Right?

Aiyo, head pain is the worst! If it's just a normal tension headache, some chai and rest helps. But if your right side of the head hurts like crazy, suddenly, and you feel dizzy, or can't see properly, or one side of your body feels weak, then you HAVE to see a doctor. Don't wait at all, please.
