When does type 1 diabetes occur?

My cousin's son was recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, and he's only 8. It made me wonder, at what age does Type 1 diabetes typically manifest or occur?

Haan, type 1 diabetes toh mostly bachpan mein ya jawani mein hi hota hai na? Matlab, usually before 30-40 years of age. It's an autoimmune thing, body insulin banana band kar deti hai. Bahut dukh ki baat hai.

I'm just researching this topic out of curiosity. From what I've gathered, type 1 diabetes usually appears in children and young adults, but it can develop at any age. It's an autoimmune disease, so it's not about diet or exercise initially like type 2.

Type 1 diabetes is generally diagnosed in children and young adults. It's an autoimmune condition where the body attacks the cells that make insulin. For parents, regular checkups for kids and being aware of symptoms like excessive thirst are crucial. It's about early detection and proper medical care.

Type 1 diabetes, it's mostly seen in younger ones, sometimes in childhood only. It is a different kind of illness. For such a serious condition, one must follow the doctors' advice completely, home remedies won't work alone. It needs careful management.

Type 1 diabetes, I've seen it mostly affecting younger people, often in childhood or adolescence. It's different from the diabetes that comes later in life. It's not because of lifestyle choices, but the body itself. These children are very brave, they learn to manage it from a young age.

Type 1 diabetes usually occurs in children or young adults. It's very different from Type 2. If anyone has persistent symptoms like increased thirst, frequent urination, or unexplained weight loss, especially in young age, please don't ignore it like I once did with a different issue. See a doctor immediately.

I heard Type 1 mostly starts in childhood or when you're young, is that right? It's genetic, no? It makes me a little anxious about family history. Did anyone here have it start later in life?

Type 1 diabetes typically develops in childhood or adolescence, but can occur at any age. It's an autoimmune condition, not lifestyle-related. For those diagnosed, even with T1, regular physical activity like walking or doctor-approved exercise is still important for overall health, alongside insulin management.
