When does the fever play again?

My son loves playing with his fever thermometer, but he keeps asking when 'the fever' will play again. I'm not sure what he means. Does anyone understand what he's referring to?

Usually, if it's a common cold or viral fever, it subsides within 3-5 days with good rest and fluids. But if it's high grade or doesn't go away, or if other symptoms appear, it's always best to consult a doctor right away. Don't ignore persistent fever.

Fever playing again? That's definitely a sign to be cautious. With my thyroid issues, I've learned that a fever that returns or persists needs medical attention. Don't self-diagnose; please get it checked by a doctor to rule out any underlying infections or conditions. Timely tests are important.

Oh, I just got over a fever like that! It lasted almost 4 days, came down a bit, and then spiked again. My doctor said it was a viral thing, and sometimes it just takes time. But he also said if it goes beyond 5 days or is very high, visit again. Stay hydrated, that really helped me.

If a fever comes back, it's definitely time to see a doctor! 🌡️ Sometimes it's just a lingering viral, but it's always better to get a proper diagnosis. Don't stress too much, just get it checked out! ✨

Beta, if fever comes back, it means your body still has something to fight. Don't wait, show it to a good doctor. Drink hot water, have tulsi tea, but medicine from doctor is most important. Take care of yourself.

A fever recurring or not subsiding within 48-72 hours, especially if high, warrants an immediate doctor's visit. It could indicate a secondary infection or something more serious than a routine viral. Don't delay medical consultation. Prioritize your health.

Haan bhai, agar fever baar baar aa raha hai ya jaa nahi raha theek se toh doctor ko dikhana hi chahiye. Viral mein bhi aisa ho sakta hai, but it's better to be safe na? Don't take it lightly, pls consult a doc.

I've heard that if fever comes back after a day or two of feeling better, it could be a 'secondary bacterial infection' after a viral one. My friend had that last month. I think it means you definitely need to see a doctor then, right?
