When does tb test need to be read?

My office requires regular TB tests. After getting the test done, I always forget when exactly I need to go back to get it checked. What is the usual timeframe when a TB test needs to be read by the doctor?

Haan ji, TB test results are usually read within 48 to 72 hours. Agar late ho jaaye toh accuracy kam ho jaati hai na. So make sure u go on time to get it checked.

While I believe in natural remedies for small things, for something like a TB test, you absolutely must follow the doctor's instructions. They usually tell you to come back after 2-3 days to get the induration (swelling) measured. Don't delay it.

Just like with thyroid tests, timing is very crucial for a TB test to get accurate results. Please ensure you get it read by a healthcare professional within 48-72 hours. Always follow what your doctor says about follow-ups and further tests.

It can be really nerve-wracking waiting for test results, I understand that feeling completely. For TB skin tests, they typically need to be checked by a doctor within 2-3 days, not earlier or later, otherwise the reading won't be right. Take care.

I remember my neighbour had to get this test done. The nurse told her very strictly to come back exactly after 48-72 hours. Not before, not after. It's very important for the doctor to see the reaction correctly. Don't miss that window, it's for your own good.

Hey! So for a TB skin test, they usually say it needs to be read within 48 to 72 hours, like two to three days. If you go too early or too late, the results might not be accurate. Just make sure to follow the doc's instructions properly!
