When does scarlet fever rash go away after antibiotics?

My daughter recently had scarlet fever and we started her on antibiotics. The rash is still there, and I'm wondering when it will finally clear up completely. Is there a typical timeframe after starting the medicine?

It can take a few days for the rash to fade completely even after starting antibiotics. Just keep an eye on it and make sure your little one is comfortable. Hope they feel better soon!

Honestly, don't rely on internet advice for these things. Every body is different, and the speed of healing can vary. It's best to call your doctor or pediatrician if you're worried about the rash, they will give the most accurate info.

I remember when my daughter had it, I was so worried about the rash! It felt like forever, but after a few days of antibiotics, it slowly started going away. Just continue the full course of medicine, it will clear up.

My cousin actually developed some complications because the rash lingered and wasn't properly checked. Please make sure to follow up with the doctor if it's not improving, just to be safe. Better to be cautious.

Oh, scarlet fever, that sounds serious. My niece had some rash a few months back, but it wasn't this. Does it usually start fading within a day or two of meds? Hope the child gets well soon.
