When does ovulation pain happen?

I've been tracking my cycle and sometimes I feel a dull ache on one side. My friend told me it could be ovulation pain. When does ovulation pain usually happen in the cycle?

My grandmother always used to say some women feel a little something mid-cycle, like a tiny pinch. But honestly, if it's actual pain, I'd suggest checking with your gynaecologist. Better safe than sorry, you know.

Listen to your body, it tells you many things. Often, ovulation pain, or 'mittelschmerz' as they call it, happens around the middle of your cycle. Stay positive and take good care of yourself always.

It usually happens when your body releases an egg, so like halfway between your periods. Some women feel a dull ache or sharp pain on one side. It's quite common.

Achha, so this ovulation pain, often called 'mittelschmerz', means 'middle pain' in German. It typically occurs in the middle of your menstrual cycle, right when your ovary releases an egg. It's usually mild, lasting a few hours or a day.

Ovulation pain usually hits around day 14 of a 28-day cycle, or whenever you're ovulating. Keeping your body active and eating balanced food can sometimes help manage general discomforts, but if it's severe, definitely consult a doc.
