When does hay fever begin?

Every spring, I get these terrible sneezing fits and itchy eyes. My doctor said it sounds like hay fever. When does hay fever typically begin each year in India, like which months?

Usually spring season, but it depends on what triggers it for you. Some people have it year-round.

Hay fever, or allergic rhinitis, usually starts when pollen counts are high, typically in spring or early summer for most people. But it can also be triggered by other allergens like dust mites or pet dander, so the timing really depends on what you're allergic to. Best to consult a doctor for proper diagnosis and management.

Oh, hay fever can be quite bothersome! For many, it's around March-April when the flowers bloom a lot. But some people get it even later in the year, like when different trees or grasses release their pollen. Keeping your windows closed in the mornings sometimes helps.

Sometimes people confuse seasonal allergies with a regular cold. Hay fever usually kicks in with the seasonal change, especially when pollen is high. While diet won't 'cure' it, a strong immune system from good nutrition and consistent exercise can definitely help manage the symptoms better, like reducing inflammation.

Dude, for me it's always around February-March when all the flowering starts. My eyes get super itchy and runny nose all the time. It's a real pain when you're trying to study for exams ya know!
