When do you get food cravings in pregnancy?

Suddenly I'm craving the weirdest things, like pickles with ice cream! My husband finds it hilarious. When do food cravings usually begin during pregnancy?

Cravings can start anytime, often in the first trimester. Just ensure healthy choices.

I'm curious about cravings too. Do they start very early, like with morning sickness? And do they last the whole pregnancy or mostly just one part? It sounds like a fun, but maybe challenging, part!

My mother always said cravings can begin very early, even before you miss your period. For me, they started in the second trimester, mostly for sour and spicy things. While family advice helps, always check with your doctor if a craving feels very unusual or unhealthy.

Food cravings can begin quite early in pregnancy, often during the first trimester, and sometimes continue throughout. Hormonal changes play a big role. It's usually fine to indulge in moderation, but if you crave non-food items (pica), it's important to tell your doctor as it could indicate a deficiency.

Cravings? From day one for my wife, it felt like! Suddenly wanting things at 2 AM that are impossible to find. Mostly started strong in the first trimester and then kinda settled down by the third. Just be prepared for anything, especially if you're the one fetching food!

Cravings vary a lot. Some women start getting them in the first trimester, others later. Just listen to your body and try to make healthy choices as much as possible. It's a natural part of pregnancy.
