When do yellow fever vaccine side effects start?

I'm planning to travel internationally soon and need to get a yellow fever vaccine. My friend told me he felt a bit unwell after getting his. When do the side effects from a yellow fever vaccine usually start appearing?

I remember getting super anxious after my yellow fever vaccine, waiting for side effects. For me, a mild headache and body ache started around day 4 and lasted a couple of days. It's usually within 3-7 days, and thankfully, it's generally mild for most people.

I got my yellow fever vaccine for international travel. The side effects, mostly mild like headache or muscle ache, usually start within 3 to 7 days after the shot. They typically don't last more than a week. It's mostly just feeling a bit under the weather.

I got my yellow fever vaccine for a trip to Africa. My arm was sore, and I had a mild fever around day 5. The doc said that's pretty normal, usually starts a few days after the shot and passes quickly. So like 3-7 days after.

Hey, it's normal to wonder about vaccine side effects. For the yellow fever vaccine, if you get any, they typically begin within 3 to 7 days after the shot. Most people just experience mild symptoms like a low fever or muscle aches, and they usually resolve quickly. Don't stress too much about it.
