When do sleep regressions happen?

My 6-month-old, who was sleeping through the night, has suddenly started waking up frequently. My wife thinks it's a sleep regression. At what ages do these sleep regressions usually happen for babies?

Sleep regressions are pretty common and can happen around 4 months, 8-10 months, 12 months, and 18 months. They're usually linked to developmental leaps, like learning to roll or walk. Just know they're temporary phases!

Oh, they're notorious! The most common ones are around 4 months, 8-10 months, and then the 18-month mark. It's when babies are learning new skills. The practical solution is just to be consistent with their sleep routine and maybe try a white noise machine.

Sleep regressions? Haha, felt like they happened every other week for my kids! But seriously, the main ones are 4 months, 8 months, and 18 months. Just when you think you've cracked the sleep code, they throw a curveball. Survive it, parents!

My son just went through the 18-month sleep regression, and it was rough! Before that, the 4-month and 8-month ones were also quite noticeable. It's all about growth spurts and milestones. Just try to be consistent with the bedtime routine.

Oh, so there are specific times for them? And what do they feel like? Like, suddenly the baby just won't sleep, or what? I'm just trying to understand.

I'm so worried about sleep regressions! My baby is almost 3 months. Is the 4-month one really that bad for everyone? And how long do they usually last? I feel like I'm already so sleep-deprived!
