When do breastfed babies sleep through the night?

My baby is 3 months old and exclusively breastfed. Everyone keeps telling me 'enjoy this time, soon he'll sleep through the night!' but I'm just curious when that usually happens for breastfed babies.

Sleep through the night? Is that even a real thing for breastfed babies, yaar? Mine's 8 months and still thinks 2 AM is party time. Honestly, I'm powered by coffee and dreams of a full 6 hours. Send help (and caffeine)!

Oh, this is something I worried a lot about with my first! I kept reading all these milestones and getting so anxious if my baby wasn't hitting them. But every baby is different, truly. Don't stress too much, just keep an eye on their cues.

I'm just starting to learn about this as I'm expecting soon. So, it really varies for each baby? What's the earliest you've heard of a breastfed baby sleeping through? Just trying to understand what to expect.

My baby is 5 months and still wakes up so much. I keep wondering if I'm doing something wrong, or if she's not getting enough milk during the day. Did anyone else feel this anxious about their baby's sleep patterns?

My mother-in-law kept telling me to give top feed so baby sleeps, but my doctor said breast milk is best for immunity and baby will sleep when they are ready. Every child is different, don't compare. Just follow doctor's advice.

I used a baby tracker app to log feeds and sleep. It helped me see patterns. My paediatrician said that once they hit a certain weight, they can go longer without feeds. Maybe check with your doc about that milestone?

Oh, the never-ending sleep question! My bhabhi's baby slept through at 6 months, mine is 9 months and still up for a feed. I think it's just luck of the draw sometimes. Just try to enjoy the cuddles during night feeds.

I just went through this! My baby started sleeping 6-7 hours straight around 7 months, but then had a regression at 9. It's a journey, not a destination. Just when you think you've figured it out, they change again!

While babies sleep, you need energy! Make sure you're eating well and getting some light exercise yourself. Being fit helps manage the sleepless nights better, trust me. Just take care of your own body too.

Haha, for me, 'sleeping through the night' meant I finally got to eat my late-night cravings in peace after the baby was asleep. Kidding aside, it really does vary! Just make sure your baby is well-fed and comfy.

Honestly, there's no fixed age. Some babies sleep through at 4 months, some take a year or more. What worked for me was focusing on a good bedtime routine and making sure they had full feeds during the day. Patience is key, mama!

My son finally slept through the night consistently after 10 months. Before that, it was hit or miss. Every child is different and their needs vary. I only share my experience, not as advice, but to say it gets better.
