When did they stop giving tb vaccine?

My parents told me they used to get a TB vaccine when they were kids, but I don't remember getting one. When did they stop giving the TB vaccine generally? Just trying to understand.

Beta, they haven't stopped giving the TB vaccine (BCG) in India. It's still part of the routine immunization for infants. It was given to my children and grandchildren also. Don't worry, it's still very much in use here.

In India, the BCG vaccine for TB is still given to all babies at birth. It hasn't been stopped here. It provides some protection.

Humare yahan toh abhi bhi sab naye bachchon ko TB ka teeka lagate hain. Sarkar ki taraf se hota hai. Yeh band nahi hua hai. Sab bachchon ke liye zaroori hai. Bahut acha hai ki abhi bhi lagta hai.

Oh, so they are still giving it in India? I thought maybe it was like other vaccines that get discontinued. Is it given to everyone or only in certain areas?
