When can i sleep on my side after tooth extraction?

Got a tooth extracted yesterday and the dentist said to be careful. I'm worried about disturbing the clot if I sleep on my side. How many days should I wait before I can sleep normally, on my side, without any issues?

After a tooth extraction, your body needs gentle care to heal. It's usually advised to avoid sleeping on the side of the extraction for at least the first 24-48 hours. This prevents pressure and helps avoid disrupting the blood clot. Sleeping with your head slightly elevated can also help with swelling, similar to how gentle breathing calms the body.

It's totally understandable to be worried about doing the right thing after a tooth extraction, especially with sleep. My dentist said it's best to avoid sleeping on the side of the extraction for at least the first night, maybe two. This prevents putting pressure on the wound and helps the blood clot stay in place. Don't stress too much, just be gentle.

After a tooth extraction, you need to be cautious. For the first day or two, avoid sleeping on the side of the extraction to protect the blood clot. Rinse with warm salt water gently after meals, but if there's excessive pain or bleeding, you absolutely must see your dentist right away.

Hey, don't stress too much about this! After a tooth extraction, usually, you just need to avoid sleeping on that side for the first 24-48 hours. It's mainly to keep the blood clot safe and reduce swelling. After a couple of days, you should be fine to slowly go back to normal. Just be gentle with yourself.

Ho na, after tooth extraction, it's important to be careful. For the first 1-2 days, try not to sleep on the side where the tooth was extracted. It helps the clot form properly, haan na. Sleeping slightly elevated can also help with swelling. Your dentist must have given you instructions, follow those.
