When can i sleep on my side after blepharoplasty?

I recently had blepharoplasty done on my eyelids, and the doctor advised me to sleep on my back. It's difficult for me. When can I safely go back to sleeping on my side after blepharoplasty?

After any surgery, beta, rest is very important, and position matters. For blepharoplasty, it's generally advised to sleep on your back with your head elevated for a few weeks. This helps with swelling. Avoid putting pressure on your eyes; be patient with your recovery.

Post-surgery recovery is crucial, just like a cool-down after an intense workout. For blepharoplasty, sleeping on your back with your head elevated for at least 1-2 weeks is standard to minimize swelling and protect the incisions. Don't rush into side sleeping, let your body heal properly.

Yaar, after blepharoplasty, you really need to be careful with your eyes. My friend had it, and her doc said strictly no side sleeping for at least 2 weeks, actually. Best to sleep on your back, maybe with an extra pillow to keep your head up. It helps with swelling a lot.

I had blepharoplasty many years ago. It takes time, my friend, don't rush. I remember sleeping on my back for a good few weeks, with extra pillows. It felt a bit strange, but it really helped with the swelling and discomfort. Patience is a virtue in recovery.

Oh, I totally get how uncomfortable it can be to sleep differently after surgery! For blepharoplasty, most surgeons recommend sleeping on your back with your head elevated for at least 1-2 weeks. It feels restrictive, but it really minimizes swelling and helps protect those delicate incisions. Hang in there!

Blepharoplasty recovery, eh? You'll be sleeping like a mummy for a bit. My wife had it, and she swore by sleeping strictly on her back, propped up, for at least two weeks. Said it felt like forever, but the results were worth it. Good luck with the 'no side-sleeping' challenge!

Hey, don't worry, it's a common concern after this surgery. The most important thing is to avoid putting any pressure on your eyes. So, you'll need to sleep on your back, propped up with pillows, for about 1-2 weeks, maybe even longer depending on your healing. Your doc will tell you exactly when you can slowly transition back to side sleeping.

My aunt had this procedure done recently, and she was told no side sleeping for at least two weeks! It's super important to let the area heal properly and reduce swelling. So, stick to sleeping on your back with your head elevated with extra pillows for a while. It really helps.

After any eye surgery, you need to be very careful. For blepharoplasty, the practical solution is to sleep on your back. Use two pillows or even a wedge pillow to keep your head slightly elevated. This helps blood flow and reduces swelling. You might need to do this for 2-3 weeks at least, until the initial healing is done.

Listen, for something like a blepharoplasty, you absolutely cannot rely on general internet advice. Your surgeon will give you specific post-op instructions. Typically, it's sleeping on your back with head elevated for at least 1-2 weeks. Always confirm with YOUR doctor for YOUR specific case.
