What was the highest fever ever?

My son has a high fever right now and I'm really worried. It got me thinking, what was the highest fever ever recorded in a human? Just trying to put things in perspective.

The highest recorded human body temperature is incredibly high, around 115 degrees Fahrenheit (46.5 degrees Celsius), but it's very rare and happened in extreme circumstances. Don't worry about hitting such extremes, just focus on keeping your own fever managed and seeing a doctor if it's too high or persistent.

I remember reading about some extremely high fevers, but those are medical anomalies. For us, anything above 102-103F (39-39.5C) is high and definitely needs medical attention. Don't try home remedies for such high temps; practical advice is to see a doctor quickly.

The highest fever ever recorded was very rare, usually in unique medical cases. For general purposes, a high fever is usually anything above 102-103 degrees Fahrenheit (around 39-39.5 Celsius). If your temperature gets there, it is always best to consult a doctor, don't take risks.

Whoa, that's a cool but scary question! I think I read somewhere it was like 115 degrees Fahrenheit for a kid who survived. Super rare though. My highest was 104, and that felt like hell. So anything that high, def see a doc.

Such extreme cases of fever are rare, reflecting how resilient the human body can be. While it's interesting to know, for our own health, let us focus on prevention and prompt care. Stay positive, eat well, and seek guidance when needed. The body is a precious gift.
