What vitamins are good for nerve pain?

I've been experiencing persistent nerve pain in my hands and feet for a while now, and it's very uncomfortable. Are there any specific vitamins that are good for nerve pain? I'm looking for some relief.

Oh, nerve pain is the worst! I get this weird tingling sometimes, and it really worries me. Has anyone else felt that electric shock type of pain? I heard B vitamins are good for nerves, but I'm always scared to take anything without asking my doctor. What do you all do?

For nerve health, I've seen a lot of info on apps about B vitamins, especially B12, B6, and B1. They're often grouped as 'neurotropic' vitamins. But definitely track your symptoms and then show it to a neurologist. They can confirm if a deficiency is causing it and recommend precise dosages.

Typically, for nerve pain, B vitamins are the first thing doctors check for deficiency, especially B12. Sometimes Vitamin D also plays a role. But honestly, nerve pain can be complex, so self-diagnosing or self-medicating isn't smart. See a neurologist; they are the experts.

Being vegetarian, I'm always conscious about my B12 intake, which is super important for nerve function. If you're having nerve pain, it might be worth checking your B12 and B complex levels. Otherwise, omega-3s are good for overall nerve health. But seriously, see a doctor to know the exact cause and best dietary plan.

From what I've seen, doctors often prescribe B complex vitamins for nerve issues, especially B12 for deficiency-related neuropathy. Alpha-lipoic acid is another common one. But it's really important to get a proper diagnosis first because nerve pain can have many different causes. Don't just pick something up from the pharmacy without medical advice.
