What types of eczema are there?

My skin has been really itchy and red in patches, and I'm wondering if it could be eczema. I've heard there are different kinds, so I'm a bit confused. What types of eczema are there, and how do you tell them apart?

Eczema ke bhi bohot types hote hain na? I know of atopic dermatitis, which is very common. Then contact dermatitis bhi hota hai, jab skin kisi cheez se react karti hai. There are others too, like discoid eczema and seborrheic dermatitis. Bohot itchy hota hai, bechare ko.

Dekho, eczema ke kai prakar hote hain. The most common one is atopic dermatitis, especially in kids. Then there's contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, nummular eczema... It's complicated. Best to show it to a skin doctor. They'll tell you exactly what you have and what cream to use.

My cousin had really bad atopic dermatitis when he was a kid, it was so itchy for him. My friend had contact dermatitis from a new detergent once. So yeah, different types with different triggers. I can only share my experiences; for your case, please see a dermatologist.

I'm no skin expert, but I know eczema isn't just one thing. There's atopic eczema, contact, and some others. For overall skin health, staying hydrated and sometimes light exercise (if it doesn't irritate) can help with stress which can trigger flare-ups. But for proper diagnosis, a dermatologist is a must.
