What types of diabetes are there?
My mother-in-law has Type 2 diabetes, and my cousin was recently diagnosed with Type 1. It made me realize there's more than one kind. What types of diabetes are there, exactly?

Beta, earlier we only knew one type, but now doctors talk about three main ones. Type 1, which is often from childhood, and Type 2, which comes later in life, often with lifestyle. Then there's gestational diabetes which some women get during pregnancy. For Type 2, eating less sugar and walking helps a lot, but always take your medicine as doc says.
Mainly there are two types everyone talks about: Type 1 and Type 2. Type 1 is usually auto-immune, your body just stops making insulin. Type 2 is more common, where your body doesn't use insulin well or doesn't make enough. There's also gestational diabetes during pregnancy. For Type 2, regular exercise and diet control are crucial, along with medication.
I was just reading about this! The main ones are Type 1, where your body can't produce insulin, and Type 2, where your body doesn't use insulin effectively. Then there's gestational diabetes, which develops during pregnancy. There are also rarer forms, but those three are the big ones to know.
Mostly Type 1, Type 2, and Gestational diabetes. That's what I know.
Don't ignore the symptoms, bhai! I did, and it led to more complications. There's Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes. Each one is serious in its own way. If you have any doubts, please get your blood sugar checked immediately. Early detection makes a world of difference, trust me.
