What type of soap to use for eczema?

My skin has been getting very dry and itchy lately, and I think it might be eczema, or something similar. I want to try changing my soap. What type of soap is generally recommended to use for eczema or sensitive skin?

Hey! For eczema, you need something super gentle and fragrance-free. I use a pH-balanced cleansing bar, not harsh soaps. Look for brands that are specifically for sensitive or eczema-prone skin, they usually mention it clearly on the label. It really helps keep irritation down.

My dermatologist always stresses on using a 'soap-free cleanser' or a 'syndet bar' for eczema. These are formulated to maintain the skin's natural pH and don't strip away natural oils like traditional soaps. Look for ingredients like ceramides or colloidal oatmeal, and always ensure it's fragrance and dye-free. Cetaphil, Aveeno, or Eucerin are often recommended.

Haan, for eczema, normal sabun toh bilkul use mat karna. Wo skin ko aur dry kar deta hai. Try using mild, unfragranced cleansers, like jo 'syndet bar' hote hain. Meri didi ne Dove sensitive skin wala use kiya tha, usko kaafi relief mila tha. Na koi fragrance, na koi chemical zyada.

Choosing the right soap is important, but don't just pick the cheapest one. For eczema, you need a dermatologist-recommended soap, usually a soap-free cleanser. It might be a bit more expensive initially, but it saves you from further skin issues and doctor visits later. Think long-term savings.

Please be very careful with eczema. I once used a regular soap because I thought it was 'mild' and my eczema flared up badly, leading to infections. It's best to consult a dermatologist. They will suggest specific soap-free cleansers or medicated washes suitable for your condition. Don't self-experiment.

Beta, eczema ke liye toh bahut sambhal kar cheezein istemal karni chahiye. Humare ghar mein toh pehle neem ki patti ka pani se nahate the ya besan aur doodh ka paste lagate the. Agar sabun hi lagana hai, toh wohi lo jo bilkul halka ho, bina khushboo wala. Achcha hoga ki ek baar vaidya se bhi pooch lo.
