What type of sleep is best?
I often feel tired even after sleeping for many hours. I'm trying to improve my sleep quality. Is there a particular 'type' of sleep, like deep sleep or REM, that is considered the most beneficial or best?

Achha sleep toh wohi hai jo aapko poori tarah se fresh feel karaye subah. For me, deep sleep is the best. Try having a warm glass of milk before bed, ya thoda light yoga. But agar bahut din se neend nahi aa rahi, then consult a doctor, haan.
Bhaiyya, wohi neend acchi hai jismein subah uthkar man shant ho aur sharir bhi halka lage. Koi bhi chinta na ho. Jaldi sona aur jaldi uthna, yeh sabse accha niyam hai. Humare gaon mein toh log aise hi karte hain.
The best sleep is when you go through all your cycles properly, especially REM and deep sleep. Eating light, vegetarian food in the evening helps digestion, which then helps with better sleep. Avoid heavy meals and too much caffeine.
I'm still learning about all this, but I hear deep sleep is very important. I often feel tired even after 8 hours. Is there a way to know if you're getting enough deep sleep?
My mother always said 'sound sleep' is the best. It means you sleep without any disturbances and wake up feeling refreshed. For me, that means getting enough REM sleep. But if there's any serious sleep issue, it's always best to consult a good doctor.

For good sleep, what matters most is the quality, not just quantity. You want to get enough deep sleep and REM sleep, which are restorative. A consistent sleep schedule, a dark cool room, and avoiding screens before bed really help achieve that. Try to relax your mind before sleeping.
