What type of bed is best for back pain?

I've been having terrible lower back pain for months now, especially when I wake up. My physiotherapist suggested I look into a better mattress. What kind of bed material or firmness is generally recommended for people with chronic back pain?

I've been having some back pain recently too, and my old mattress isn't helping. I heard memory foam is good, but is it too soft? Or should it be firm? It's all so confusing, what do others recommend?

Back pain? Ugh, makes me want to just lie in bed with a big plate of biryani and forget the world! But for real, a medium-firm mattress is usually what docs suggest. Too soft, and you sink; too hard, and it's like sleeping on the floor. Balance is key, just like in a good meal!

Definitely a medium-firm mattress, usually orthopedic ones are great. Memory foam can work, but make sure it's not too plush. It needs to support your spine properly. Invest in a good one, your back will thank you for it.

I ignored my back pain for too long and it got complicated. While a medium-firm mattress is generally recommended, it's crucial to see a doctor or a physiotherapist first. They can tell you exactly what kind of support YOUR back needs based on your condition, before you invest in a bed.

I just recovered from terrible back pain. What helped me was a high-density coir or medium-firm memory foam mattress. The trick is to find one that supports your natural spinal curve. I actually went to a store and lay on a few for a good 10-15 minutes before deciding.

The best bed for back pain? One that magically massages you while you sleep and also tells you jokes! Kidding, kidding! 😂 Most experts say medium-firm, something that supports your spine but still feels comfy. Avoid anything too soft, otherwise you'll wake up feeling like a pretzel!

Generally, a bed that offers good support without being too hard is key. Think medium-firm, sometimes labeled as orthopedic. It helps keep your spine aligned. Also, consider your sleeping position. Side sleepers might need a bit more cushion than back sleepers.
