What to use for eczema on hands?

My hands have been so rough and itchy lately, with red patches that crack sometimes. The dermatologist said it's eczema, probably from all the washing and sanitizing. I need something that can really help heal them.

Eczema on hands can be particularly troublesome because we use our hands constantly. It's crucial to get it diagnosed by a dermatologist as there are different types of hand eczema. Don't rely on just any hand cream; a doctor can prescribe specific medicated creams or barrier repair lotions for safety.

My mother always suggested dipping hands in lukewarm water with a little bit of turmeric for any skin irritation. But for proper eczema, that might not be enough. Please see a skin doctor, anna/akka. They can give proper cream. Always better to trust the doctor for skin problems, especially on hands.

Hand eczema can be tough, especially if you're active. While external care is important, remember general health helps too. Staying hydrated and eating a balanced diet, even gentle exercise, can contribute to overall skin health. But for the hands, specifically, always wear gloves for protection when doing anything that might irritate them, like gym equipment or cleaning.

For eczema on hands, I've found that pure shea butter or coconut oil can be very soothing and moisturizing, especially at night with cotton gloves. It's a gentle, natural way to help. But if it's cracking, bleeding, or severely itchy, it's definitely time to consult a doctor. Don't let it get worse.

Yaar, hand eczema is the worst, especially if you're washing hands so much. Actually, try to wear gloves for household chores like washing dishes. Aur use a really thick, fragrance-free hand cream, like after every hand wash. It helps a lot with the dryness and itching, honestly.

Eczema on hands must be so difficult, given how much we use them! Just remember to be super gentle. Try to avoid harsh hand sanitizers and soaps, and switch to mild, soap-free cleansers. And moisturize, moisturize, moisturize with a thick, emollient cream multiple times a day. You'll find what works with time.
