What to take to cleanse your liver?

I've been feeling a bit sluggish lately and read somewhere about liver cleansing. Is there anything natural I can take to cleanse my liver and feel more energetic?

My son had some liver enzyme issues, and our doctor told us to be very careful with any 'liver cleanse' products. He said the liver cleanses itself naturally. What really helps is a healthy diet with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, avoiding processed foods, and limiting alcohol. It's more about supporting the liver than trying to 'cleanse' it artificially. Always best to ask a doctor.

My physician clearly explained that 'liver cleanses' or 'detox diets' are generally not scientifically supported and can sometimes be harmful. The liver is a self-cleansing organ. What genuinely helps is maintaining a healthy lifestyle: avoiding excessive alcohol, eating a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, exercising regularly, and managing weight. Supplements should always be discussed with a doctor.

I used to panic about my liver and bought all sorts of 'detox' teas and supplements, thinking I needed to 'cleanse' it. But then my doctor calmly explained that the liver is a powerhouse that cleanses itself! What actually matters is a healthy lifestyle – cutting down on junk food, limiting alcohol, and getting regular exercise. Don't fall for marketing gimmicks, your liver is already doing its job!

Oh, liver cleanse! That topic always makes me overthink everything I eat. I get so anxious about my liver health. But I've heard from doctors that the liver is actually a self-cleaning organ. So instead of fancy cleanses, focusing on a healthy diet and avoiding things like excessive alcohol or processed foods is probably the best approach. It's less stressful too.

Yes, true liver cleansing is about maintaining a healthy lifestyle rather than specific detox products. Avoid alcohol and processed foods.

With PCOS, I'm always cautious about anything that claims to 'cleanse' or 'detox' a specific organ, because sometimes these things can actually upset your system. For liver health, the most supportive things you can do are a balanced diet, regular exercise, and avoiding alcohol. Don't blindly trust quick fixes; always check with a doctor.
