What to take for sore throat pain?

My throat has been very sore for the last two days, making it painful to swallow or talk. I've tried hot water and honey, but it's not enough. What can I take for sore throat pain?

Oh, a sore throat is no fun. I always try to be careful with what I take, especially with my PCOS, so I usually stick to very simple things first. Warm water gargles with a little salt often help me, but if it's really bad or lasts long, a doctor's visit is best, you know.

Haan ji, sore throat ke liye toh garmi paani mein namak daal ke gargle karo. Aur adrak wali chai bhi bahut aaram deti hai. Kabhi kabhi VICKS ki goli bhi le leta hoon, thoda relief mil jaata hai na.

Look, with sore throat, there are a million remedies online. But honestly, most are just old wives' tales. If it's bothering you much, don't just blindly try things. See a doctor or a pharmacist, get proper advice. They can tell you if it's just a cold or something more.

Sore throat? Drink lots of warm fluids, like hot water with honey and lemon. Avoid cold drinks completely. If it doesn't get better in a day or two, or if you have a fever, then you must see a doctor. Don't ignore it.

For a sore throat, the best quick fix is typically warm salt water gargles. You can also try strepsils or similar lozenges for temporary relief. If it persists or worsens, definitely consult a doctor; it might be an infection requiring antibiotics.

I totally get how annoying a sore throat can be, and it's easy to get anxious about any new symptom. For me, drinking ginger tea with honey always helps soothe it. Also, avoiding talking too much and resting my voice makes a difference. But if it feels really bad or you're worried, please just check with a doctor for peace of mind.
